Accessing Online Courses

1. Activate your student account (first time only)
2. Log into the myPTC Student Portal
3. Click the “Online Courses” link under the Blackboard icon
4. From the myBlackboard page, click the course link you want to access

1. Locate the Student Portal from the button on PTC’s homepage OR, from the Online Courses page
2. If accessing from the Online Courses page, click the “Student Access” link; otherwise, go to step 3
3. From the myPTC page, click the “Manage My Account” link in the myAccount box
4. If a Security box pops up, click OK
5. Complete the Student Account Activation form completely
6. Click the “Display My Username, StudentID, and CHANGE my Password” button
7. You will then see your UserID or error messages
8. If your UserID displays, close this browser window and log into myPTC.

What if I get error messages on the Student Account Activation form?

1. Click the “Please Start Over” link
2. Complete the Student Account Activation form again, including all information
   o Use your legal first name, not your preferred first name
   o If you changed your last name or zip code without completing a “Change of Information” form with Student Services, use your previous last name and zip code
3. If you continue to have problems, contact onlinecourses@pulaskitech.edu

I’ve done everything according to the above directions and I STILL can’t get in!

• If you tried to login 3 or more times (without success), your account is locked
• Contact onlinecourses@pulaskitech.edu in order to gain access

I’ve already activated my Student Portal account, but forgot my information. What is my UserID?

• Your UserID in all small letters is:
  First two letters of your first name + full last name + last 4 digits of your StudentID (not your social security number)
• Example for David Jones: dajones1234

How can I find out what my password is?

1. Passwords cannot be displayed, they can only be RESET
2. You must resubmit the Student Account Activation form:
   a. From the myPTC page, click the “Manage My Account” link in the myAccount box
   b. If a Security box pops up, click OK
   c. Complete the Student Account Activation form completely
   d. Click the “Display My Username, StudentID, and CHANGE my Password” button
   e. You will then see your UserID or error messages
