Transferring from UCA in Conway to PTC was the best move I ever made. I came to PTC to pursue a certificate in Drafting & Design Technology and loved the program so much that I also got my associate degree. I learned so much at PTC. They have excellent instructors, exceptional training techniques, and the best part is they assist in placement within a firm upon your graduation. I have worked in the architectural field of drafting for four years and I have been at Arkansas Precast Corp. in Jacksonville for almost five years. There are excellent job and salary opportunities in drafting and design, and the field is flooded with a wide variety of drafting avenues from architectural and structural to specialty fields such as precast and metal building component design. I would highly recommend this field to anyone who loves construction and computers. This field is ever-changing and very challenging, but PTC will have you well prepared to enter the construction industry with confidence.
