Drafting & Design Technology
The drafting and design technology program is a broad based degree and certificate program. The program integrates general and technical courses that allow the student to develop a wide range of technical and academic Skills. Computer-aided design (CAD) in architectural, structural, civil and mechanical areas are emphasized, as well as construction, manufacturing, and surveying. The program is designed and equipped to give the student the knowledge, skills, and attitudes for transfer to a four-year college or to become employed as a CAD technician with architects, engineers, contractors, or related industries.
