Certificate Programs
The following courses meet the requirements of the one-semester Certificate of Proficiency. Completing these courses meets the educational requirements for the national CDA program. Students wishing to take the CDA exam should also complete ECD 1201 CDA Essentials.
Certificate of Proficiency in Early Childhood Development (PDF)
The Technical Certificate in Early Childhood Development builds upon the one-semester program to provide more in-depth training in curriculum development and classroom management. It requires at least two semesters or 28 credit hours to complete.
