Message from James T. Harvey Foundation members realize that we are not where we are because of our own efforts but through the help and guidance of others. Through this perspective, we understand the challenges and dreams of students who attend Pulaski Technical College. The backgrounds of students here are diverse. Their experiences are emotional and moving. Their endurance and determination are commendable. Their goal is the same: To earn a degree or acquire the necessary training that will prepare them for a career and success in their chosen fields. The experience connecting me with the college was meeting a student several years ago. She had overcome many hardships throughout her life and had managed, through the financial support and excellent academic advisement that she had received here at Pulaski Technical College, to earn outstanding grades even as she was employed full time. If we invest a little time, we discover the many success stories of students, and we understand why Pulaski Technical College continues to experience phenomenal growth and program expansions. The Pulaski Technical College Foundation is the sole official fund-raising and private gift-receiving agency for the college. We have the integral role of helping to ensure that the college has the financial resources to sustain and expand degree and training programs and ensure the success of students. Foundation donors are a part of a community-changing momentum. Every investment in the college through the Foundation is a lasting investment in a student, in our community, and in our future. |

Message from Joyce Taylor It is an exciting time at Pulaski Technical College. We are the largest two-year college in Arkansas and the fifth largest college or university in the state. Our enrollment has reached 10,258 students. This is an growth rate of over 1,000% since the school became a college in 1991. Due to this rapid growth, our enrollment has grown faster than our funding. Therefore, private support from people like you is vital to our future success. As you browse though the Foundation Web site, I invite you to learn more about the college and to consider partnering with us as we work to meet the challenges that lie ahead. Together, we can make a difference in education in central Arkansas. Joyce Taylor |
