Giving Opportunities
You are invited to join the patrons of giving at Pulaski Technical College. Please consider making a contribution to the college through one of the programs outlined below.
Little Rock-South/Transportation Technology Center Building Fund
Pulaski Technical College has at the heart of its mission a goal of providing affordable, accessible, high-quality education. Many of our students overcome obstacles of high gas, unreliable transportation and long rides on Central Arkansas Transit Authority busses to continue their education. Pulaski Tech purchased a 159,000 square foot building off of Interstate 30 near the Saline and Pulaski County lines to provide convenient high-quality education to serve residents of south Pulaski and Saline counties. It opened in August 2008 as its Little Rock-South site and houses the Transportation Technology Center. Students enroll in general education courses in two-year and technical certificate programs in transportation-related fields. Pulaski Technical College doubled current enrollment in automotive technical programs, a high-wage, high-growth career field. The Center’s services include:
- General education freshman and sophomore college courses that are transferable to a four-year college or university
- Technical certificates and associate degrees in automotive technology, collision technology repair, diesel technology, small engine repair, and new programs in motorcycle/all-terrain vehicle mechanics, commercial driver training and transportation facility management training
- Tutoring center, library, food services and child-care facilities.
The Little Rock-South site opened in August 2008. Up to 3,300 students will be able to achieve their higher education goals close to home, improve their earning potential, begin new careers and be an example to their children who will be more likely to attend college.
Adopt-A-Class
Individuals and corporations may choose to support a specific area of study or certificate program. Pulaski Tech offers general university studies and 80 different technical and occupational training programs, which are targeted to meet the workforce needs of central Arkansas. Sponsorship of a defined program can help ensure availability of a trained workforce in certain professions. Sponsorships are available at different levels.
Endowment Scholarship Funds
The college is also seeking donors to consider endowing scholarship funds that will live on in perpetuity while leaving a legacy that will allow students to achieve their life long educational goals.
