The Arkansas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (AASFAA) awards $500 scholarships to at least two Arkansas students planning to attend an AASFAA member institution in the fall semester. Winners are randomly selected during the Spring AASFAA Conference.
Pulaski Technical College Foundation Scholarship Opportunities
The Pulaski Technical College Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that raises funds for the benefit of Pulaski Technical College. The PTC Foundation offers a variety of scholarships for eligible students that are funded by generous community supporters. Single Parent Scholarship Fund
The Pulaski County Single Parent Scholarship Fund (SPSF) provides financial assistant to single parents in Pulaski County who are pursuing higher education and are enrolled as full-time students. The fund provides $2,700 per year ($900 each fall, spring, and summer semester) per recipient to help pay for tuition, fees, books, daycare, rent or mortgage, utility assistance, professional dues, testing fees, transportation needs, diapers, food, and other financial needs. Scholarship recipients are also involved in mentoring programs and workshops that are designed to ensure student success in college and in life.
Awarded to current PTC students who place 1st or 2nd in the state-level SkillsUSA competition. The scholarship must be used in the fall semester following the win, and the student must be enrolled full-time and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Other stipulations may apply. The award covers tuition and regular fees* and is renewable for two semesters. To apply, students must present their Certificate of Placement to the Financial Aid Office.
*Special Course Fees: Some programs, including but not limited to Aviation, Culinary, Technical and Industrial programs, Occupational Therapy Assistant, & Respiratory programs, require additional course fees. These additional course fees may not be covered by a scholarship. For information regarding course fees for these programs, please contact the program division.
